Mobile home or holiday home? What do these categories mean, and which one should you choose?
There’s one thing all the mobile homes and holiday homes at Aranypart Camping & Apartments have in common: everything you need to enjoy your days at Lake Balaton at your own pace, right by the waterfront. The houses feature separate sleeping areas, a private bathroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, cooking facilities, and a terrace furnished with garden furniture. You can park directly next to your accommodation, with one parking space included in the price. Free WIFI is also available throughout the campsite and holiday resort. Your four-legged friends are welcome too, so you can bring your dog or cat along with you.
The term “mobile home” refers to a self-contained holiday unit where you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. Just like in our classic apartments, our mobile homes come with a fully equipped kitchen, towels and soft bed linen. All our mobile homes are equipped with air conditioning for both cooling and heating, making them ideal for every season.

Try it in the low season too! At the end of August and the beginning of September, Lake Balaton reveals its particularly peaceful side, and the prices are even more favourable! Wake up by the lake, open the door, step out onto your private terrace and enjoy the fresh air of Lake Balaton.

Our premium, air-conditioned mobile homes feature private terraces and offer comfortable accommodation for up to 5 guests. An ideal choice for couples and families who value both a waterfront location and comfort.

Eurocomfort mobile homes: These modern, air-conditioned mobile homes belong to the Superior apartment category, offering a high level of comfort. The Eurocomfort mobile home features a well-designed layout, separate bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a covered terrace, making it an ideal choice for up to 6 guests. The shared living space and terrace are perfect for lively conversations and leisurely breakfasts. And if someone is looking for a little peace and quiet, the separate bedroom offers the perfect opportunity to unwind.
Sun Cool, mini mobile home by Lake Balaton: Smart design and a modern atmosphere. Sun Cool is a compact, air-conditioned mobile home with a covered terrace and a well-equipped kitchen. Ideal for couples and small families, it can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. One of its advantages is that it can also be booked at a more favourable price for 2–3 guests. A practical choice if you want to focus on experiences: explore Lake Balaton during the day, then return to your own comfortable mobile home in the evening.
Holidaying with a baby? You can request a cot, high chair and baby bath free of charge at reception. There’s no need to bring these bulky items with you, we’ll provide them on site.

Superior apartments: Rosa Plus These colourful, air-conditioned, two-storey apartments, renovated in 2025, offer modern and spacious interiors, a private terrace and a practical kitchen, providing comfortable accommodation for up to 8 guests. During the day, enjoy the beach, go for a walk or even take a boat trip, then get together again in the evening. And when everyone is together, it’s time to bring out that treasured recipe for goulash cooked in a cauldron. The designated chef grabs the wooden spoon, everyone else lends a hand, the children run around freely, and dinner is prepared at one of the campsite and holiday resort’s atmospheric fire pits.
Superior apartments: Carmen Plus Head to the beach, then enjoy a relaxing evening on your private terrace! These comfortable, family-friendly apartments offer a welcoming atmosphere and air conditioning, accommodating up to 6 guests. A well-equipped accommodation option for families with young children or friends who value being close to the beach and enjoying a carefree holiday.
Comfort apartments: Carmen Comfort: Our popular Carmen apartments have been taken to a new level. Their renovation has created a more modern, premium category where the carefree atmosphere of a holiday at Lake Balaton meets even greater comfort. Refreshed interiors, modern solutions and carefully considered details make your stay at Lake Balaton even more enjoyable.
Standard apartments: Carmen Standard is ideal for those who want to keep their holiday at Lake Balaton simple. Excellent value for money, air conditioning, a private terrace, a fully equipped kitchen and enough space for up to 6 guests. Carmen Standard is a comfortable, tried-and-tested apartment close to the public beach.
You can also rent a cauldron on site, and firewood is available to purchase at reception. So all you really need to decide is who will be in charge of the seasoning. Missing something? You can pick up everything you need for a great dinner at the on site grocery store.

You may find yourselves so captivated by the atmosphere of the campsite and holiday resort that you’ll want to spend the whole day here by the lake. Direct access from Aranypart Camping & Apartments leads to one of Siófok’s most beautiful public beaches. But if you do decide to venture out, there are countless memorable things to see and do in Siófok and the surrounding area.
Hop on a bike, which you can also rent at the campsite, and enjoy a ride along the shores of Lake Balaton.
Head out into nature! Explore the Törek Nature Reserve. The Törek nature trail features a birdwatching point, oak forests, lakes, the Cinege stream and a small spring for visitors to discover.
With children, Bella Zoo Park can be one of the highlights of your holiday. The park’s current stars are undoubtedly the capybaras, and you can even go camel riding.
In the city centre stands the Water Tower, offering stunning views of Lake Balaton from above, while at the Grand Beach (Nagystrand) you can also take a ride on the Ferris wheel.
If you have time for a quick outing, make a stop at Siófok’s Upside Down House, where you can take some fun photos.
Lake Balaton is also worth exploring from the water. Set off on a boat trip from Siófok Port, either on a scheduled service or by choosing a sunset cruise, and enjoy the soft evening light from the middle of the lake.
