What to bring when you go camping with your dog or cat?

If you're travelling with a pet, there are a few essential items you should bring with you, the most important of which is a valid vaccination book. However, dogs and cats have different needs when it comes to other things. When selecting the equipment, it is worth taking into account the individual characteristics of the animal. Here are some practical items that can come in handy on a pet-friendly trip.

Cats are more sensitive to changes in their environment, so it is especially important to bring along their familiar items and accessories. This will make it easier for them to adjust to the new situation and to enjoy the rest together.

Pet-friendly rules at Aranypart Camping & Apartments

You can stay with your pet – in a tent, caravan or even in an apartment, with up to 2 dogs per house. Take care of the equipment in the accommodation and do not leave the dog alone for long periods. For a peaceful stay, please follow the safety regulations at the campsite and holiday resort and keep the area clean!

Pets are not allowed in Lake Balaton, but if you want to let your dog in the water, we have a solution for that too.

With an Aranypart Camping & Apartments wristband, our guests can access the dog-friendly beach at Mirabella Camping in nearby Zamárdi.

In the campsite and holiday resort you will find everything you need to relax. However, it's worth getting out and about, as the area is full of activities that your pet can join you on.

 

• Walks in Siófok: Take your dog for a little city tour among the historic villas, explore Jókai Park, stroll along the Pier, and enjoy the view of Lake Balaton.
• The Siófok Tourinform Office: You’ll find it at the base of the Water Tower. It’s worth paying them a visit. They warmly welcome four-legged friends, provide fresh water, and can give information about numerous pet-friendly services and programmes.
• Töreki Nature Trail: Go for a hike near Siófok along a scenic trail, passing lakes, wetlands, forests, and meadows. The 8.5 km route can be extended up to 14 km, but shorter walks are also possible. Along the way there are rest areas, fire pits, a rain shelter and a bird watching tower.
• Zamárdi Adventure Park: An adventure park reachable by car from Siófok in 15 minutes, offering obstacle courses, slides, and exciting activities across several hectares. The park is dog-friendly, so you can bring your four-legged companion with you. The park is open from 10:00 to 18:00 on weekends in autumn, weather permitting.

The screen displays the places available for booking on that date. You will also find a brief description of each one to help you decide. Once you have found your desired accommodation, click on the "Select" button.
In the “Your Reservation” window, you’ll see the dates and the apartment or camping place you’ve selected. Here you can set the number of adult and child guests, and you can see the total price at every step.

Click the Next button. Here you can add a pet and parking spaces for additional vehicles if you’re coming with more cars, or, for camping places, the option to set up a pavilion. You can also reserve a fixed spot here.

What is a fixed reservation?

If you’re booking a tent place or caravan pitch and have a preferred spot, or if you want to camp next to friends or family, you can choose the exact location on the campsite map for an additional fee.
Once you have finished adding any additional requests, click on the "Continue" button in the "Your Reservation" window.

Step 2: User details

Fill in your details and accept the terms of use.
In the booking deposit field, select from the drop-down menu how you would like to pay the deposit. You can do this with your bank card or debit card. When booking, a 50.00% deposit is required, with the remaining balance due upon arrival. The system also shows how much the advance payment will be.

Step 3: Final confirmation
